It has been confirmed that Rupert Grint will be participating in a Visit Britain campaign with his Harry Potter co-star Julie Walters (who played Molly Weasley) and British actor Stephen Fry.
We're just a month away from the release of "Into the White" in Norway, and the official Tumblr for Zentropa Norway has released a second video clip from the film.
In this clip, the British soldiers (played by Rupert and Lachlan Neiboer) are declared prisoners of war by the Germans in the Norwegian cabin and set some ground rules. Watch it below or at this link!
"Into the White" will have its world premiere in Norway on March 4th at the Fimfest Oslo.
BLAG magazine is turning twenty this year! To celebrate, they are sharing some fantastic photos with their Tumblr followers. This includes four previously unreleased pictures from Rupert's 2009 cover feature.
They have also posted the pictures that originally appeared in the magazine.
We've seen the images and posters, now it's time to see Rupert in action in this video clip from Into the White! The clip focuses mostly on Rupert's character, Gunner Robert Smith, and a bonding moment with German officer Wolfgang Strunk (played by Stig Henrik Hoff). Skiing included! Visit THIS PAGE to watch the video or see below.
Accompanying the video is also an interview with Mr. Hoff where he talks about working with Rupert. It can be viewed below:
How was your fellow actor and star from the Harry Potter films on skis?
Well, he claimed he had an uncle that had put on skis once. And he had tried on modern skis the day before. But then it was just to go on and do it. He had no idea what he was doing. He fell and rolled down and stood up like a chicken. We laughed so hard that we cried. But Rupert gave his all and kept his humor, impressively enough. Of course, he was freezing in the end.
How was he to work with?
Completely super! So precise, so well prepared, a dream to work with. He probably benefited from the world's best film school growing up, "Harry Potter school." On top of having a natural star quality, he had unusually good colleagues, both to work with and hang out with during free time in filming periods.
But can you assume that skiing scared him?
No, not really. He told me that he could see himself coming back and trying skiing again under more civilized circumstances than war.
The holiday seasons are always a bit hectic, so we hope these two ladies will forgive us for these belated birthday wishes!
To Dove and Marine: Happy belated December bithday!!! We hope you've been enjoying being another year older and thank you so much for the work you do on the site. <3
