Blog #3, RupertCast Holiday Special

This was, by far, one of the most impromptu recording we've ever done! ^_^ Here's a somewhat altered version of how it all came to be
Steph: So when are we going to record the next RupertCast?
Claire: How bout now?
Steph: Erm...ok...
Claire: GET ON SKYPE
Steph *on skype*: Ok, I'm on.
Claire *on skype*: Ok, so am I.
Steph: Ahhh, you're not showing up!
Claire: Ahhhh, neither are you!
Steph: OH NO! RETURN OF THE JINXED PODCAST!
All in all, considering the bad luck we've had with previous podcasts (files go missing, downloads not working, internet going down, it never ends....), this show definitely went very well. So yes, somehow the problem with Skype was resolved!
so far, we're totally loving the feedback you guys are giving us. =) It's a ton of fun recording it (although I don't know if the same can be said for Claire when it comes to the editing process... :x lol j/k), and it's great to know that you all have a great time listening and laughing along with us, or maybe even laughing at us! :P
What I find mind boggling at the moment is that this was our final episode for 2005! Next time you'll be hearing our voices will be in 2006!!! =0
Oh, and I'll be taking any suggestions from now on about different language greetings. ;)

Blog #2, RupertCast Episode 1

We had so much fun recording this episode!! The girls from MuggleNet are excellent and like us, they have lots to say about Rupert!! The episode over-ran by about 10 mins because we literally (as you can probably tell) had so much to say on the topics we discussed.

Definitely one of the highlights was the recording with Ben and Andrew at the end of the show, which is our blooper reel for this episode. If you're wondering why we didn't include the rest of our voices with the bloopers - let's just say we have it stored in a safe place incase we ever need to bribe them ;)

Can't wait to record Episode 2!!

Blog #1, The RupertCast Archives

Ahhh, a trip down memory lane....it feels like it's been ages since Claire and I first recorded that little clip, which was originally supposed to be the first ever Rupertcast. Well, maybe because it was quite a while ago, hence the fact that we were talking about one of the Driving Lessons summaries! We really did talk a lot about Driving Lessons--who would've though we could actually talk so much about a movie we know so little about!? Or that we haven't even seen, in that case!

While listening to the podcast again just now, I hear Claire mention the newsletter. So now I'd like to take this moment to thank Claire for indirectly reminding me that the "deadline" for this month's newsletter is quickly approaching and I've done nothing. So thanks for that, Claire, I owe you! ;) lol

I also want to make myself clear on the whole hairbrush business: this was originally an expression I used to show my frustration at Ron's BIG and VOLUMIZED hair in GOF. I originally said I wanted to throw a brush at the movie screen. NOT Rupert. We would NEVER encourage ANY of you to do ANYTHING like. Just be aware that this was a joke taken completely out of context. Although if you want to send me a hairbrush autographed by Rupert, I won't say no! ;)
