Music Vlog #2

Why I selected these bands...

They Might Be Giants
In 2005, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint were selected to contribute to the Celebrity Playlists section of iTunes. Rupert's playlist picks included a track by They Might Be Giants, as you can see here. You can also click here to be taken to the iTunes store where you can download all of Rupert's selections.

Mogwai
In this interview with guardian.co.uk from 2009, Rupert mentions that he had been listening to Mogwai on the Harry Potter set: "I thought they sounded intriguing and decided to explore further. And they've got some great track names. There's one called The Sun Smells Too Loud. I love the sound of that."

Black Lips
At the Cherrybomb DVD Release Q&A from August of this year, Rupert mentioned, after a suggestion from an audience member, that he'd "definitely" be seeing Black Lips at Reading. He also listed one of their tracks in the guardian.co.uk interview as part of a sampling of what's on his iPod.

The Clash
Rupert mentioned The Clash at the same Cherrybomb DVD Release Q&A as mentioned above for Black Lips, and again, on his iPod, you can find The Clash.
