Q: How would you define your music's style?
A: My style is hard to define at the moment as my music changes each time I write a new song - but on the whole I suppose I'm a mixture of Kate Nash, Marina [& the Diamonds], with a hint of Lily Allen.
Q: Choose at least 3 songs that you could listen to non-stop.
A: It would have to be Human League - Don't You Want Me, Terry Jacks - Seasons in the Sun and last but not least The Cars - My Best Friend's Girl, I can never get bored of these beauties!
Q: Have you had to make sacrifices in order to dedicate yourself fully to your passion?
A: Not really - writing music and playing is what I love to do; I fit it around my schooling and other things I have to do. It's so flexible I can write and play whenever I want - so it just fits in with me so well.
Q: Where did the name 'Ghost of Samantha' come from?
A: The ghost is a kind of character that helps me switch to performer and allows me to go on a stage and be 'the ghost of samantha' instead of samantha grint. Sounds silly but it does help.
Q: What's your favorite song that you've written?
A: My favourite song I wrote would have to be a fairly new one - 'Einstein.' I love playing and singing it - I just love it, love it, love it! Oh and my beautiful persian cat is called Einstein which is a huge plus.
Q: What's your favorite all time group, musician or singer?
A: Well, it has to be between The Flaming Lips and Pixies, can't get enough of them!
Q: If you had to categorize your sound, what would you call it?
A: It's a real toughie - I suppose it's rock/pop but really it's kind of dream like? Because most of my songs come from previous dreams I have had.
Q: What's your dream gig...the one place, event, type of venue where you'd really love to perform?
A: I would love to do a gig on top of a roof of a massive warehouse, or in a carnival parade float type of thing.
Q: You have a great personal fashion sense - are you interested in fashion? Do you love any particular shops, designers, fashion icons?
A: Yes, I do love my fashion and it's a big part of me and how I express myself. I love to mix and match clothes - say from High St and then put it with some market or stuff off ebay. I also love stuff from market place ASOS where you can get one offs etc.
Q: What do you love to do outside of music?
A: I'm big on my art, love drawing and shopping!!
Q: Do you play any other instruments?
A: I play the drums, and still bad at it, but I'm just learning the xylophone and the ondioline.
Q: What is it like for Rupert to have such a famous sister? ;)
A: It gets tough on Rupert but he's getting used to it!!!!!!!! slowly!!
