Today's editition of USA Today provides an exclusive first look at the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince!
RG.net can exclusively reveal that Rupert is currently working on a new movie titled Cherrybomb.
Set in Belfast, the plot is described to be a "a gritty thriller about two teenagers who get into trouble when they both fall for a beautiful new girl in town."
The film is currently in production and filming is expected to end in early August, scheduled for release in 2009. Check out the IMDB page for the film here.
As a kick off to the 2008 Formula 1 British Grand Prix, Rupert will be attending the second annual F1 Party hosted by the Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Charity. The event takes place this coming Wednesday, 2nd July at the Bloomsbury Ballroom in London.
Last month, a heartbreaking tragedy befell the Harry Potter community. Robert Knox, a young actor who landed the role of Marcus Belby in Half-Blood Prince, was brutually murdered. A memorial service was held today in honor of Robert. Several members from the HP films attended the service, including Rupert.
The WB is officially denying the rumors of the trio filming a mini-movie and several short scenes for the upcoming Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. Though they all remain very supportive of the park, JKR never wrote the rumored script and the trio will not be filming anything related to the theme park between Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows.
The Sunday Mirror has reported that J.K. Rowling has written a mini-movie and ride-related skits exclusively for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter Theme Park at Universal Studios!
In conjuction, Rupert and his co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson will soon be filming the mini-movie and short scenes before they begin filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!
