Rupert Grint Attends England v. Wales Rugby Match

A particular treat for the rugby union fans out there as Rupert played guest to BMW at this Sunday's head-to-head England v. Wales match at Twickenham.

With thanks to Rupert's lovely reps, we now have five pictures of him larking around racing toy cars with members of the under-20's team (Nick Tompkins, Maro Itoje and James Chisholm) and, later, posing for a photo with Courtney Lawes and Ben Foden.

Rupert Grint Accepts "Best Newcomer" WhatsOnStage Award

Still buzzing from Rupert's "London's Best Newcomer" WhatsOnStage award, we now proudly present his acceptance speech.

Rupert, after being serenaded and having his hair stroked, said, "This play is the most fun I've ever had." He also went on to thank the producers and his fellow actors for "being so great."

After his acceptance, a red carpet interview revealed his feelings of being terrified of stage, the relief of winning the award, why he felt the role was right for him and even touched on his Harry Potter friends Dan and Emma.

Rupert ended by saying the play was very rewarding and would "definitely do it again." He thanked all the voters, attendees and supporters.

Tonight: The WhatsOnStage Awards

Tonight at 7 PM GMT the WhatsOnStage Awards will be held at the Prince of Wales Theatre in London.

A few members of our staff will be attending, so we'll post live updates here, on Facebook, and on Twitter.

Rupert Grint has been nominated for the Newcomer of the Year category, while Mojo has been nominated for Best Play Revival. Rupert's co-stars, Ben Whishaw and Daniel Mays, have been nominated for Best Actor in a Play and Best Supporting Actor in a Play, respectively.

Join us tonight here or via social media to find out the results!

1. The award for Best Play Revival was just announced. The winner is To Kill A Mockingbird. Congratulations to the cast and crew!

2. Rupert has won the award for Newcomer of the Year!

Excerpt from the WhatsOnStage live blog

"And the award goes to Rupert Grint for the role of jittery sidekick Sweets in Mojo. Although Grint is far from a newcomer to our screens, reaching cultural ubiquity as Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter films, Mojo marked his stage debut. Mel takes the opportunity to get cosy with Rupert Grint as he accepts his award, to much excitement from the audience. Not a little put off, Grint goes on to offer thanks to his fellow cast and creative team."

3. Daniel Radcliffe has won the award for Best Actor in a Play. Tonight seems to be the night for our Harry Potter veterans.

4. The winner of Best Supporting Actor in a Play goes to David Walliams. Congratulations to him as well!
