As promised, I have the audio from both the directors' introduction to Cherrybomb at last night's UK Premier, and the writer's and directors' Q&A, that followed the screening.
It seemed that most of the cast and crew - apart from the leads - were present in the audience, and the cheering for every name in the credits was loud and prolonged.
Rupert sent his apologies, as he was filming - Kimberley and Robert theirs, as they were both in Hollywood - and that's Hollywood, Los Angeles, not Holywood, just outside Belfast...
So. It was clear that Lisa Barros D'Sa, Glenn Leyburn and Daragh Carville were proud to show the film to and in Belfast, as you will be able to tell from the whatever-the-word-is-for-audio-that-means-the-same-as-'footage'.
At about 3:50 into the Q&A, there is a question about the altering dynamic of the relationship between Malachy, Luke and Michelle: if you find it thought provoking, then that is me... if you find it is breathless twaddle... well, whoever asked it couldn't hear her own voice, over the sound of the blood pumping in her ears...
Either way, it is SPOILERific, as are several other questions.

Update: The DVD Times has published a new and insightful review of Cherrybomb from the festival. Read it here!
