Are You Rupert Grint's Type? Video, Plus Golf Tournament News
Another video interview from the Cherrybomb press junket held back in the spring has surfaced recently. In this video, SugarScape asks Rupert Grint and co-star Robert Sheehan to give hopeful ladies their idea of the Perfect Girl (Hint: high-strung, high maintenance girls need not apply). Check out the video below for their answers.
In other news from Rupertland, it seems the Brooks Bros. 2010 Classic Pro-Am golf tournament Rupert participated in with James and Oliver Phelps (and in which they came in second--go Team Weasley!), was just a warm-up for Rupert, who will also be taking part in Samuel L. Jackson's Shooting Stars Benefit Golf Tournament in Switzerland.
The tournament, being held from 15 to 17 September in Bad Ragaz is an invitational to benefit the Samuel L. Jackson Foundation. The Foundation will use the proceeds from the benefit toward building a hospital in Cambodia in partnership with the Swiss Red Cross. Along with Rupert and Jackson himself, other stars expected to participate are actors Luke Wilson, Haley Joel Osment, Ioan Gruffudd, Dennis Haysbert, and Colin Salmon. Songstress Dionne Warwick will be a special guest during an evening gala event at the tournament. To read more, see this German article in Tagblatt.ch
Thanks to Carolyn for the heads up!

Photos: Rupert Grint and Emma Watson as Ron & Hermione; HP Trio; Music Festivals
If you're taking a break from your Labor Day Weekend barbecues to check up for some news, we have a couple of items you're sure to like.
First up, a French site called Cinereplicas is offering for sale two canvases depicting images from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1.
One of the images is a slightly different version of this photo depicting the trio of Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint), and Hermione (Emma Watson) entering Grimmauld Place, and can be seen below and in our galleries:
The second canvas is a real treat for the Ron and Hermione shippers out there (including yours truly). It's an enlargement of the photo of a weary, weakened Ron lying on his camp bed, being tended to by Hermione, sitting next to him. It is technically not a hi-res photo (both this and the trio pic are blown-up, canvas-mounted 'paintings'), but it's quite a bit larger than the versions previously available. If you've got 19,90€ to spend, you can hang this depiction of blossoming love on your wall. Alternately, you can click on the photo below to be taken to the large version in our galleries:
Secondly, you may want to check out our updated V Fest and Reading Music Festival galleries. Lots of lucky fans met Rupert during his festival jaunts, and the ever-accommodating star flashed his charming smile for their cameras. By the way, if you were one of the happy people who got the chance to meet and/or photograph our man and you'd like to share your experience with his fans, please feel free to drop us an email!
Now, back to those grills, it's time to flip the burgers.
(Thanks to Lilly, SnitchSeeker, and Rupert fan for the tips!)

Win a Cherrybomb Poster Signed by Rupert Grint
They have given RGN four - what, can't I keep one?, oh, alright then five posters, signed by Mr Rupert Grint, himself.
Now, choosing a winner of our Meet&Greet competition worked wonderfully - the awesome distel flew in and asked Rupert a rather excellent question, and stood beside him for the world's press, and their picture was in gossip columns across the Internet. She was walking on air to such a huge extent that she did not need a plane to fly home...
So, we are going to run this competition in a very similar (I will come to the one, tiny change in a moment) and utterly democratic fashion.
Firstly, log in to RGN, here, and check that there is a working e-mail address in your profile.
I cannot stress this highly enough - there is no greater height to which I can stress this - I am getting a nosebleed at this altitude - if I cannot click on the user name you have logged in under and find your e-mail address, I will not be able to get in touch, so you will not qualify for the contest.
Secondly, leave a comment to this post, saying something along the lines of : I am rather fond of Rupert Grint, and a signed Cherrybomb poster would look dashed good on my bedroom wall.
Any comments that include your contact details will be deleted.
Any comments from people who are not logged in will be ignored.
Any logged in comments that do not lead to a user with contact details will be ignored.
On MONDAY, September 6th, I will number the eligible comments and another staff member will use random.org to generate 5 random numbers, and those five readers will have won a poster.
Simple.
Oh, the one tiny change from our last contest? I know how frustrating it must have been that our International readers could not come to the Meet&Greet. Well, this time the contest is open to all readers, worldwide.
You're welcome.

Hi-Res Deathly Hallows images from Empire Magazine
Thanks to Warner Bros., who have sent us the hi-res Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows photos from the latest issue of Empire Magazine. Some of the pics they have provided which include Rupert Grint are stills showing Rupert, Emma Watson, and Daniel Radcliffe as Ron, Hermione, and Harry walking through a burned-out trailer encampment; as well as the trio meeting with new Minister for Magic Rufus Scrimgeour (Bill Nighy) at the Burrow on the day of Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour's wedding.
Click on the pics below to be taken to the gallery for the hi-res versions as well as photos of Harry Potter exploring an eerie Grimmauld Place (or Bathilda Bagshot's), Harry's reflection in the shattered mirror, and a tense moment witnessed by Ginny Weasley between Harry and Remus Lupin.
For those of you keeping count (and really, who isn't), we're at 76 Days Before Deathly Hallows Part 1.
